Globe 2016 Vancouver March 2-4

Just BioFiber will be exhibiting at GLOBE 2016.

GLOBE 2016 will address carbon innovation and technology transfer, climate action mechanisms and policy, corporate investment, sub-national climate leadership, and public-private partnerships, all geared towards seizing carbon-action opportunities, while the Innovation Expo will showcase climate change solutions and low-carbon generating/emitting technologies.

The world-class GLOBE 2016 Innovation Expo will focus on solutions that help address climate change and showcase technologies and services that foster our ability to transform to a low-carbon economy and curb dependence on fossil fuels, including power generation, smart grid, energy and natural resource efficiency, alternative fuels, advanced materials and transportation, carbon capture and storage, and greenhouse gas management.

Banff Venture Forum 2015

Just BioFiber previously submitted a technology introduction and now has a formal statement of interest application filed on April 15, 2015. We will be notified in the next 2 months if we are selected for advancement of funding. We have a very compelling case for Green House Gas reduction and sequestration.

We are accepted to submit a detailed project plan for phase II of the review process July 15, 2015

July 22, 2015. Our proposal was accepted and due diligence will commence in August.

SAIT ARIS partners for initial projects

Just Bio Fiber Structural Solutions has partnered with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Applied Research and Innovation Services to complete two initial projects. First to provide a detailed worldwide market assessment and second to perform materials testing and reporting for standards certification. Our relationship with SAIT will be ongoing to assist with product development, building construction standards, certification and training.

NRC IRAP BIAP project approval

November 24 2014

Just BioFiber has received BIAP funding approval to engage Southern Alberta Institute of Technology to complete 2 projects in marketing research and materials testing. Both projects are  to commence November 2014 and completion is expected March 2015.

National Research Council Canada

The Business Innovation Access Program (BIAP) is a Government of Canada pilot program, announced in the 2013 Budget that provides $20 million in funding to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them access business services or technical assistance at Canada’s learning institutions and publicly-funded research organizations to bring bigger and better innovations to market faster.
